Located 4 miles from Smethport, PA, the reserve has 985 acres of heavily wooded land in the foothills of the Alleghenies. Summer Camp Program includes overnight canoe trips on the Allegany River, wilderness outpost camps, modern central dining hall, year round training center, full health facilities, a small lake, modern swimming pool, and rifle and archery ranges. A rock climbing/repelling tower is located at the camp where Scouts can face the challenge of "The Tower" as they climb one side and repel down the other. Year round facilities include 4 lodges: Hannah and Henry Lodge have water, stove, fireplace, electric and sleep 24 persons; Nippert lodge which sleeps 14 with water, stove and electric; Orlos lodge sleeps 6-8 and has water, heat and a kitchen. Troop sites are also available with latrines and carry water. All reservations must be made through the Council Service Center.

Elk Lick Scout Reservation is located in northern Pennsylvania, south of Olean, NY.
 

Directions from the west:

• In Bradford, PA, at the junction of Routes 346 and Route 46, follow Route 46 south for
approximately 13 miles to the junction of Route 46 and Route 446.
• At the junction of Route 46 and Route 446, stay on Route 46 for ½ mile to the junction of Route
46 and Bordell Road.
• Turn right on to Bordell Road and travel approximately 2 and ½ miles to the camp entrance on
the left.

Directions from the east:

• At the junction of Route 417 and Route 305, south of Portville, NY, follow Route 305 south to
the junction of Route 446 and Route 346, which is north of Eldred, PA.
• Follow Route 446 south for approximately 10 miles to the junction of Route 446 and Route 46.
• At the junction of Route 46 and Route 446, follow Route 46 for ½ mile to the junction of Route
46 and Bordell Road.
• Turn right on to Bordell Road and travel approximately 2 and ½ miles to the camp entrance on
the left.
