Spring Popcorn Sale

To the packs, troops and crews that participated in the Spring Popcorn/Candy sale I want to thank you for your continued support. When the boys sell the product not only does it assist them to go to camp, it also helps the Council to provide camperships to those in need. A reminder that all product sale monies are due to the Council office.

Whitesville Fishing Derby

Boy Scouts: Mark your calendars: The Whitesville Fishing Derby will be held on June 15-17, 2007. Flyers will be available at Roundtable.
Cub Scouts: There will be activities for the Cubs on June 16th. More information will follow.

End-of-Year Roundtable Picnic

Please mark your calendar: This year’s closing Roundtable picnic will be held on June 13th (not as listed in the Council calendar) at Bob Frazer’s cabin on Cuba Lake (cabin 64) on South Shore Road. Cooking will begin at 6:00 p.m. We ask that you bring your own place setting and meat to cook. Cub Scouts are also asked to bring a dessert to pass; Boy Scouts a salad to pass; and, Venturers a vegetable to pass. Bring your BALOO bucks to purchase goodies while at the picnic.

High Adventure Possibilities

If you’re troop is interested in a high adventure ropes course or rock climbing/rappelling consider going to the Penn York Camp. There’s a ropes course on the premises and costs only $14 per person. The neighboring state forest has rock climbing and rappelling available for $25 per person. For more information, call 814-848-9811.
