STEM Merit Badge Academy
Purpose: The Academy is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) initiative of the Chief Cornplanter Council Boy Scouts of America. It will be an opportunity for middle school and high school age Boy Scouts and Venturers to pursue a STEM related merit badge, many of which are difficult to find a counselor for.
In addition, the Technology Merit Badge Academy is designed to foster an interest in careers by introducing youth to the careers and skills some local employers seek. The youth will spend a day at Warren Career Center earning a merit badge in their field of interest. Core badges are listed.
Date: Saturday, January 12, 2019.
Time: 9:00 am until 3:00 P.M. Bring a bag lunch.
Location: Warren County Career Center

Cost is $10 until Friday, January 4 and increase to $15 after that. No registrations accepted after January 11, 2017 and no walk ins. Call (723-6700) or stop in at the Betts Service Center to register.
Only 10 spots per class.
Scouts should plan to have the prerequisites done (read the Merit Badge Book) prior to the Merit Badge Day or they will receive partial. Blue cards will be provided at the event.
